aode to t-5 swap ?

I didn't need to change the crossmember when I did the swap.

Secondly, that kit is overpriced a bit. Just get a used clutch fork, used or new flywheel of your choice, and everything else separately from summit or wherever and you should come out spending significantly less.

i do get what your saying about the used parts and that it might be cheaper. But after paying individual shipping charges and the time it would take to get all of them, i am thinking its worth it for me. .

i do need to know if it fits our cars though.

I think that kit is a pretty good deal! Like you said moose, everything that you need is there. If I were doing an extensive swap like this, I'd want to start off with all brand new parts.

Do you already have the shifter bezel for a manual?

Also, consider replacing the rear main seal and the U-joints on the driveshaft while it's out (if you haven't recently). They're cheap, and the peace of mind is priceless! :D

mustang6tee8 is right,it's a good deal.dont forget you need the upper and lower shifter boot's.your also going to need to open the shifter hole on the trans tunnel a little.i used the lower shifter boot as a guide.

OK i get that it is a great deal. and if i can get some confirmation that it will fit our cars i will go ahead and order it right away.

so what do you think. will the kit work on our cars or is it for fox bodied mustangs?

I got my kit from 50resto.com, itz ford racing replacement parts includes rear main seal. Only thing you should get used is a bellousing, clutch pedals(mpsautosalvage) and computer. clutch cable, quadrant and firewall adjuster is pretty good from maximummotorsport.
