AODE to Tremec now the starter wont engage...

Just swapped from an AODE to a Tremec 3550 (not completely done) and just tried to see if the starter would turn over w/ no luck. I removed my factory pedal assembly and swapped it with a friend who was manual but going to a C-4. The quadrant is pushing in hte pin (sensor telling the comp the clutch is depressed) and still wont try to turn over.

I haven't done an AODE swap to manual before so not sure what I am to expect. When doing this swap is there anything I need to do to get my starter to work?

Also any other info will be greatly apppreciated no matteer how trivial. Thanks in advance guys.

there is a little wire that probably fell off the starter. It is a black wire with a female connecter on it. check it out.

K just ckecked it. The wire was plugged in already. I pulled it loose, looked at it, it looked okay so put it back on tried it and same thing.

Not sure if this has anything to do with it but....

There are 2 seperate grey plastic (sensors??). One is where the quadrant touches and pushes in a small arm (it is plugged in (only 2 wires in the one connector)) The other is at the top of the actual clutch pedal arm. It has a plastic rod (with small clip attatched to it) that when you push the pedal the rod goes inside the plastic piece. That has a place for 2 connectors side by side. Nothing is plugged in there. Im not sure if anything is supposed to be plugged in either. Also there are 2 connectors near it one black one grey that look like they could go there but dont go in easily so I didnt want to force it.

Not sure if I need to get another harness, but plugging in the sensor that goes to the gear selection device that was mounted to the aode (and placed in neutral) now allow me to start my car. Of course I can start my car without the clutch pressed in, which I don't particularly like, at least it now starts and runs. I have now run into an additional problem tho. I have a vibration from about 1700 RPM and up. This is with the car driving down the road or stopped, with the clutch in or out. Makes me think the flywheel is out of balance.

Any thoughts of if I need another harness and where to get it? Part number etc.

And any thoughts on the vibration?
