The 1/4 vents on my 95 Cobra have a flapper door on the inside of the 1/4 panel...in other words functional (spelling) brake cooling, the 96's and up don't!

it changed mid 95 model year. Some of the 95's built in late 94 have the strait rockers on them.

Hood same as GT except its fiberglass instead of steel. Read bumper says mustang like the V-6's. Plus I got carpet not leather (1 of 66) white 95 cobras with tan cloth.

My 94 had a fiberglass one but i just looked at a picture of a crashed one and the hood is crumbled like metal does... and ive seen fiberglass ones on v6's

I thought that the 94-95 had the 2 piece side skirts, and the 96-98 had the one piece one? Also, i used to have a 95 V6 mustang, with a rubber strip on the door, and my 94 GT doesnt have it? What is this for?

oh boy, ok...

1. The hood issue, half fiberglass, half metal..believe it or not, the upper half is fiberglass, pull out your little GT vents on the hood, and you'll see what i'm talking about. The issue confuses me, and this thread was brought up before...that's the answer I got.

2. For cobra259: I've got these same panels on my 95 GT, I don't think they're really for brake cooling, since they don't duct properly to the breaks, but instead the tires...which is probably a stupid idea. Open for opinions on that one.

3. Straight rocker panels vs curved ones, for 1994Vib.RedGT: Look just under where the GT should say "GT Mustang" and you'll notice that some mustangs rocker panels (side skirts) go straight from the rear of the car and stop bluntly, but some will curve up into the wheel well and get a lot of annoying road tar on it. I'll post some pics when I don't have to hurry up and get to work.

that rubber strip on your door is just a door protectent. its in case of some stupid soccer mom opens her door up and lets it hit your car. Its just a gaurd. not all have it. i think it was an option.

Body shop lied about the hood ohh well. Don't forget cobras aslo has the airbag cover on drivers side that says cobra no pony. Also the power seat was an option on all cars. Cobras came with every option unless ordered differently (exception is leather and cloth interior). Plus those ugly wheels I hate mine. Want some Chrome 03 Cobras as soon as my budget allows for it.

Anyone have pics of the curved panels? I never noticed that there was a difference.

I also never knew all 94/95's had fiberglass hoods. That's pretty cool.

I don't think they do. I've never seen them anyway. My friend, she has 98 GT, it doesn't have one.

I think there was actually a recall done by ford with the grille insert, because they were overheating they recalled them and took them out...maybe.
