Looking for a set and just wondering if they all offer the same amount of adjustment. I just lowered my recently aquired 88 GT w/ some mac springs, so it's time for the C/C plates. I'm looking for a cheapest set I can find, but hoping it won't be a mistake when I go to get it aligned. Any brands I should stay away from? BTW if anyone has a used set they want to get rid of PM me!
duh, I already did that. Found nothing comparing other brands of c/c plates. Just looking for a thread or some info, not some lame ass "use the search feature" reply.
Personally I like the Maximum motorsports CC plates. Not cheap, but they work well.
Forgive Matt. Didn't you know he's the suspension/brake guru around here? LOL
From what I've read stay away from aluminum or urethane bushing.
Steel and spherical bearing are the way to go!
Not sure who carries a cheap C/C plate.
I had Steeda C/C with no problems they seemed to have plenty of adjustability, I've now gone with MM's
I have a set of Pro 3i cc's. Thay have a steel spherical bearing, and are a very nice product. Alot cheaper than other brands and still exceptional quality. Ive had them 6 months no problems. Also check out stangnet review page to see reviews on a variety of cc plates
Thanks to those who answered my question w/o the attitude. I'd rather have no reply, than a smart ass answer anyday. If my thread bothers you that much, don't reply at all....your not hurting my feelings......REALLY! I'm done.
