I am planning on getting an SCT mailorder chip soon and was wondering if it makes a difference where I order it from, not that it saves cash or anything, they are all the same price. Would I benefit going with one place over another? I hear they get their tunes from a big database . Anyway, I'd appreciate any help guys.

Talk to Ken over at the ModularDepot. I'm sure that he can take care of you once he knows the specifics of your car.

I AGREE! The equipment is ALL the same, but who does it, that's a different story. Plus, these guys are availble to help you and ModularDepot even has a message board devoted to SCT questions.

They are not all the same, the guy doing your tune does makea difference. I'd say get a dyno tuned chip if its a possiblty for you.

No, you misunderstood me. The chips are all the same from SCT. However, you need to think about who is programming it and after sale support.

You don't need a dyno tune unless your mods require one. It's a waste of money with basic bolt ons. However, with the SCT you can always have it reprogrammed on a dyno later.
