Are Autolite 3924's ok for GT40X heads?

Just wondering cause i just put these in the other day and today i have a popping sound (in other thread).

I have them gapped at .054. Is that too much or is that ok.

were you showing signs of running rich with your old plugs? i have 24 lb injectors and my afpr is set about 38. i switched to 3924 and my car seems to run good once it is warmed up.

autolites are ok i had splitfires and they did good.

Well to give the short version. i had a fouled plug so i replaced them with 24's and then learned that i should have used 3924. The car A/F is running between 12 and 13 from 3500 to 6000. My fuel pressure with vac off is 45 i think i have to recheck tomorrow.
