I tried to install the mil eliminators but they are both the same. I can get one side to fit on but the other one won't. The guy I bought them from is trying to tell me that they should both be the exact same. Am i being taken for a ride here or is this truth, I only tried it once when i was installing my H pipe but i distinctly remember it NOT being able to go in.

It's the truth and it's weird. Many folks including myself have asked the same question. What you'll have to do is clip, cut or file off the offending tab on one side of the connection...it's been a while since I did this, but obviously you've been under the car and realized why it won't go together - hack at the part that is stopping the pieces from fitting together and be done with it.
It's really dumb though, isn't it?!?!?
Best of Luck!

wait hold on, do I grind the o2 sensor down, or the mil eliminator down? because the way it is, i'd have to grind down BOTH tabs on the o2 sensor to get it to fit, im not sure if i want to do this because then theres no way to keep it secure from falling off

That's weird as I never had a problem with MILs. Disconn your battery for 10 mins or so - reset that puppy, see if it goes away.
Is it staying connected? Your post above talked about not being able to secure the two pieces together...and I honestly can't remember exactly what part(s) I had to trim to make it work. In th eend, I did use zip ties to tie it ALL together (both O2 sensor lines and the MILs) and attach it to the cross brace under the transmission.
What are you using to pull codes? You don't have a handheld tuner do you?

it's weird you figured they would get it figured out that they don't line up with the tab...but I had the same problem...just file off all the tabs on the mil elimantors and they should go right in.

there is a clip that fits over the tab on the o2 sensor.

reset your battery for 30 minutes...make sure all connections are in by pushing them until you hear it click into place.

I got it on, i sanded the tabs on the 02 sensor down, and it secured with a satisfying click. However, it is still saying that bank 2 sensor 2 is not working right. The driver side mil works fine, its this side that sucks, and i've got emissions in like a month or 2
