Are Headers worth the money?

I own a 2003 svt cobra rag top and was considering to put on headers, first question is are they worth the money? I have heard that they do not give you too much HP???? Also if they do work what is better shorty's or long tub. I plan on going full x pipe and x pipe back Magnaflow. I also am going to put pulleys, chip, cai, and 150 direct shot of NOS in the future....Any comments will be appreciated!

depending on where you live, LT's may be illegal. Like in california for instance. BUT, headers will give you some good gains, especially on a blown car.

I would think headers would be a great mod but not many guys have done it. Have heard that the gains are not worth the hassle of the install. Now if you are going smaller pulley or KB I would think you may see some nice gains with the headers. I know Uncle Meat has headers and he picked up some nice tq #'s. If money is not an issue I would do aftermarket headers.
