I hope this is ok that I posted this question here, I couldn't really find a good spot to post it.

I would like to replace my stock mufflers on my 2000 mustang gt with these http://www.americanmuscle.com/slp-loudmouth-shotgun-resonators.html but before I cut my pipes and weld them on I want to make sure they are legal in Oregon. I haven't been able to find any information online, so I am hoping one of you knows. I know Oregon requires all cars to have muffles, are these considered mufflers?

Does anyone know how loud the lm1 resonators are with stock everything else? The only videos on youtube that I can find are lm1's with after market h pipes or full lm1 catbacks and they seem way to loud.

They are a very loud muffler. If you are worried about noise levels, go with a "chamber" muffler like MAC or Flowmaster instead of the "straight through" style.

They are considered mufflers and are legal in most states.

I can't see how they wouldn't be legal.

As long as you're running catalytic converters, LM1's sound pretty good IMO.
