Yeah, I didn't see an offset of American but I will check again. Thanks for the site, as soon as I get home, ill check my offset. Thanks for all the great info everyone.

Just food for thought.
If you are going to change the wheels, consider the application of the car and look at different rim sizes and tires for those rims. I am not corner carving but street and drag - I found that I could use a less expensive and lighter 15" rim that uses less expensive tires (Nitto 555R DOT drag radials in the back are only $136ea for a 10.8" wide tire and Falken high speed up front are only $60ea) and still get the correct overall height. I cannot run larger rotors but slotted with the right pads and 4 piston calipers up front stop it quite well street or strip. Overall spent less and can use the left over money to replace rubber that wears out. I also got the backspacing right so as to get the wheels just less than flush with fats in the back and skinnies up front. Down side is that I cannot rotate but the point is that there are numerous combinations and each has it's pros and cons.
If you are going to spend the money - might as well get creative.
