As the title says, Are the stock igniton (spark plug) wires 8mm?

I went to Advance Auto and ordered the replacement set from Motorcraft, and the ones I got were 8mm. Is this stock replacement?

Yep...but I would go with 9mm if they have them.

Spark plug wire / GREAT DEBATE

Other than looking good, do aftermarket plug wires really do anything? As long as the stockers aren't split or broken, why replace???

Most claim better (less) resistance and better insulation (no radio interferance). I replaced my stockers with FRPP 9mm (red) but they broke within a year due to the sever summer heat here. Now I have MSD 8.5mm "Superconductors" (red). I'm happy with them. These are my FRPP ones and I don't have any recent pictures of the MSDs but I was looking more for dressup with decent wires.

Thanks, G. I've had the MSD Superconductors ordered at a local Mustang store and it's been like three weeks and I'm just trying to justify telling them to stick 'em when they finally call me. Ba5tard5.
