Im looking for some good power tools (drills, reprocating saws, etc) still made in the usa. Many porter cable tools are and some milwaukee tools (looking to purchase a 14.4v drill from milwaukee) are made in the good ole' usa but majority are all outsource what the hell? When it comes to hand tools to me its sk all the way made in usa and i love em. Any good power tools?

I grind parts for companies that make craftsman stuff..... wee back in the the they sent us over bout 20,000 3/8" extension to grind the stamp off them , cuz they were messed up, we had craftsman, matco, napa, and i think sk , all from the same company.

some porter cable and some milwaukee tools are still made in the usa. IMO ryobi are the crappest tools around. I have a rigid circ saw, it was made in china but so far i love it

Between Ryobi and the Craftsman 19.2 battery tools i don't know whats worse LOL. After 3 craftsmen drills and 4 batteries all dieing on me in 2 years i went with Ridgid's 18v LiIon setup. So far i am VERY happy with em. One of my guys at work bought the 6pc 18v NiMh kit after using my drill, and i have to say the 18V circular saw, jigsaw and sawzall kick azz

I wondered how those 6pc sets that operate on the 18v batteries were. Im sure the sawzall could be helpful, but i cant see the battery when used in the circ saw lasting to long.
