are these BBF casting #'s anygood?

C8VE?? i know the D0VE heads are the best as far as iron heads but i just got these casting numbers off a big block 429 i bought for my '89 stang.

well i found out they have 75cc chamber and 260cc/290cc runners. i guess thats good enough for 600 HP. and maybe 750 HP on spray. at least until i get some aluminum heads.

I think the C8VE is from 1968

1968 heads are good enough. yes? i figured that the small chamber is good for the street and strip. but the runners might be a little small to build any HIGH rpm. but i think the guy i bought the engine off of said the heads had about $1000 in machine work done to them. so i will have to see for myself when i tear into it.
