Are these cams the same?

I am looking at getting a cam for my 351w (purley a street car). I called Crane and they told me to get cam part #449601. But at $320, it's a bit pricey. I then was looking at Trick Flow's site and noticed their stage 2 cam is close to the same specs for $150.

What do you guys think, are these cams the same or is the Crane cam just that much better?

Most cams will pull close to the same power if the specs are close enough. The different brand names will pass off old tech as new tech or baffel us with terminology and whiz bang to direct us towards their products..cool?? ( shelf cams)

If you have tried more than a few different mfgs you would find this out, Dont get me wrong here all info is helpful.. but a 12 or even and 11 sec dual purpose street/strip car will work good with most any of them!! The TrickFlow cams have been kicking a lot of butt for as cheap ( inexpensive ) as they are!!

Use the TFS2 and you'll be happy!! count on it!!
