would tires that have been sitting in a warehouse be bad? I mean they're not on the car undergoing stress while the car sits, so what's really bad about it?

Those are VERY nice tires. They are made specifically for dry conditions and they are a high performance tire. They arent made to be run in the rain. I would expect great traction even with a 245 and also amazing grip. Those tires normally go for about 150 a piece in that size! Pretty much the best tires BFG has for this application, i think. My personal experience is that BFG is the best tire you can buy!
That's not worthless. That's a radial tire. Tires are not meant to be stored, under pressure on a car. It is recommened, atleast in FL weather, to replace your tires every 3 years at least because of the chance of dry rotting. Michelin was the only company to offer longer then 3 years warranty for rotting, and it was 7 but under "normal weather conditions" which didn't fit into Florida's hot weather.795.0pacecar said:My dad had those on his mach 1, they were a few years old and had been sitting around before he put them on.
