When I bought my mach 1's I was under the assumption that they were the same. But the Mach's were black and the blues are of course blue, are they not just painted? Cause I need to replace them already, they bottom out on speed bumps. And they didnt before.

im ~ 80% sure they are different. i think the mach 1 S/S are specially made for the mach and the premiums (blues) are a step up.

the blues are better then the mach's....and the mach's aren't designed to be used on cars with more than 1" drop. I have seen a couple of people complain about this on other boards recently. I guess trying to save money sometimes ends up costing more?

Yea theyre different. The blues are more than a step up and the Mach1 tokicos were only designed for the slight drop on the Mach1

i have the mach 1 struts and shocks with FRPP C springs, they work GREAT together. You cant beat that combo for $300, thats for damn sure. From what I hear they are the same as the tockico hp's, they are just revalved.

I was told that the Tokico HP's (blues) were not the same as the Mach1's. But maybe I am a sucker and they wanted more of my $$. I am extremely happy with my setup though. I got the complete Tokico HP package with shocks, struts and springs. Car sits about 1.25" lower than stock.

I'll try to post some pics when I get to work.

I think the H&R springs are pretty stiff and lower the car a good bit, if you want a shock/strut combo that will last you need to get a top quality setup like the Tokico DSpec or Bilsteins.

Definately. It's getting worse and worse day by day. At this point I think my stockers handled better. I tried to save money and should have just done it right the first time.
