I said the shocks (rear) . The struts will fit. They're just stiifer than the HD Bilsteins that are aftermarket.

Why wont they fit(cobra struts on a gt)?

I had them on my 99 gt.Pulled them straight off my buddies 04 cobra and bolted them straight on..The REARS wont fit because the cobra has a IRS but the fronts fit perfect. But the rears fit mine because i also had a cobra IRS.

If you drive it that way then save some $ and get a new set of HP's. Most people with adjustables "set em and forget em". Unlike people here in the forums, who actually put them to use. I'm running the Tokiko HP's with 2" Intraxx springs with poly isolators, and MM C/C plates. The springs were installed by the previous owner who was dumb enough to leave the rest of the suspension stock. Even with 35 series 18's the ride is very compliant, corners well, with great high speed stabilty.

The HP's don't come with dust boots on the struts like Bilsteins. You can reuse the stock ones or use other aftermarket boots.
