I'm ordering a bunch of suspension goodies and was wondering if I should just get the LCAs instead of uppers and lowers. The uppers keep the rear from shifting forward correct?

Yes they are. Not only do they controll wind up but lateral (side to side) motion as well. Do the axel bushings as well. At first I just did lowers, better but I didn't see the full effect until I got the uppers.

if you get adjustable uppers, then you will also be able to change pinion angle if needed.

I just installed my adjustable uppers and theres a world of difference. Definitely go with them if you can.

they are easy to install. You have to grease their bushings and just pop them in, then take it to a place to adjust the pinion angle unless you want to do it yourself, but you have to have this meter, I forget what it was called. DTS did mine for free because they built my rear end, I just put it back in with my new rear suspension

checking pinion angle is easy. it is just the angle of the driveshaft in relation to the pinion yoke. usuall around -2* is a good starting point.

They can be a pain to install, if you change the bushings as well. MM sells a bushing removal tool for $40. One can build their own if so inclined. Search it and you will find all kinds of methods for removing them.

On the uppers I got they already came with bushings and most do. Its easy if you dont have to change bushings. Thats a pain. But every UCA Ive seen comes with bushings.
