(pleeeeease!!!???)

yeah, the dragstrip sounds fun for this weekend. it would be cool to get everyone together again. well...i better get in bed -it's 3:30 and i have to get back up at 9. grrr.... yeah, i hit a hawk on the way home tonight in my v6 (sucks for the v6, but glad it wasn't in the mach!!! it has a big white spot on my hood/front fender...i hope it comes off and didn't mess up the finish on my car- i will have to see tomorrow.... :( ) anyways....sleepytime for me- i am rambling now...

I figured your car could do better than that without the trac. control and if u were wearin regular shoes, i remember you saying that it might not be that great since you had on flip flops, it's all good.. maybe we can line them up again when you'll be able to drive even better (and beat me even worse:( ) haha.. maybe out at the drag strip so we can have a "tree" and some et slips showing how much u beat me by :owned:

I asked to get the pictures on a cd, but they said their cd thing wasn't working so I didn't get to :bang: so now i have to get them put onto a computer and THEN onto a cd.. i'll get you some pics from the cruise, i took quite a few so there were some pretty good ones :D

That sucks about your V6 tho!.. but like u said, at least it wasnt the mach! I LOOOOOOOVVVEEEEEEEEEE that car!! it's soooo bad ass!!

Its all good, I enjoyed racing you in Jason's car! I really like the Mach 1 in white.. I'm going to scan the pictures that Jason took on the cruise, today. So we can show everyone (including myself) what they missed.

oh yeah, the man in brown shorts hasnt shown up yet and i have class from 12:30-2:15. if he comes while im in class im gonna be pissed.

thanks, considering i did a quickie wash/detail friday night before heading to russellville. i tried to make it look as best i could in two hours. i know that sounds like enough time, but im anal when it comes to detailing. ive spent 6 hours doing it right one day. thanks for the compliments :nice:

It's no prob man.. i knew i had to get a pic of it and i figured you'd like it as well.. that man better wait til u get back haha.. i dont blame u for goin to class, i know i would :D

ok, its 3:45. im gonna go throw them on and take it for a spin. :nice:

ok, little update. its an hour later and getting the old resonators out is proving to be tougher than i originally thought. with all that carbon build up and heat those things may as well have been welded in there. but, i just took some PB Blaster to the areas that are stuck so now im playing the waiting game. as soon as they are out it should take about 30 minutes to get the new ones in, and re-align all my exhaust tubing to make sure there are no rubs.

SLP not-so LoudMouth 2???

well, im done. just took it for a 20 minute spin. i gotta say, im not sure about these things. i mean, they sound good, really good. but they are not that loud. they sound a lot softer. maybe its bc im so used to the LM1 :shrug: . it sounds pretty damn good once you give it hell, but it definitely has a muffled sound to it. im going to give it time to break in a little bit, maybe it will get louder. i'll also need a volunteer to rev it a few times, and maybe drive it for me if we meet up saturday night. i wonder where i could get one?...if these dont work out, im not sure what i'll do. maybe swap the cats out for race pipes? or maybe i'll just get those spintechs ive been thinking about. who knows. hell maybe i'll just go back to the LM1's.

speaking of taking it for a spin, just my luck. i took it on I-40 from one exit to the next to hear it on the highway. then i turned around and headed back. well, when i get on the on ramp i decide to give her hell. so im hauling ass while mergin onto the interstate, my exhaust is actually sounding pissed off, and before i know it im flying by that LS1 i told you guys about on friday night. the one that i keep running into. so he assumes im trying to be a tough guy in the stang,(which im not) and as soon as i pass him i look in the rear view and see him get into the left lane and nail it. luckily i was already doing 75 and accellerating pretty well, so he didnt have enough time to catch me before i had to slow down to exit. but of course he follows me and gets right next to me at a red light and starts reving it. i just cant get away from this guy. anyway i was in the turning lane and couldnt run him. not that i would waste my time getting my ass stomped and risk a ticket anyway, but it was pretty embarrasing. i came off like a ricer would. you know, haul ass past an unsuspecting mustang, then not even run him when he catches up to you. this guy must think im a douche bag. oh well, his girlfriend has a butter face and he drives a catfish.

oh i'll take care of him alright. just as soon as i get my 7,000 horse engine built. then we'll see who's boss :mad:

but really, i think im just a little dissappointed bc i was anticipating those things coming in all weekend, then i busted my ass on my back on a hot parking lot for two hours getting them in, and they werent what i expected. im gonna give em time. they sound good, just not Loud enough. :(

but yeah, that dudes gf looked like someone smacked her in the face with a frying pan. twice! if thats the sacrifice you have to make to drive an LS1, then i'll gladly stick with my 4.6, no matter how quiet it is.

I have heard similar things about the LM2 system as well. I need some new mufflers or resonators like the LM series and I think your system will work on my car if I just welded the resonators on as dumps

im gonna give these a few days, see if they grow on me. but im gonna hang onto the resonators, cuz they just may find their way back on the car. i absolutely love how loud they are, but they're just a hair too raspy/poppy. i also thought about getting the magnapack resonators and slipping them in there, but im still afraid they wouldnt be loud enough. then i also thought about welding in some spintech sportsmans, but i'd hate to weld into that tubing. it would defeat the purpose of it being slip-fit and ruin it. i shouldnt be allowed to touch my exhaust anymore. ive spent enough money on it and i'm still not satisfied.

Well.. there's always the other obvious alternative... prochamber and flows :owned: haha jk.. i like the LMI's.. cant wait to hear the LMII's tho
