does anyone know the torque specs on arp headbolts?putting heads on tomorrow any help would be appreciated.
JimBowy said:oh come on! you have to tell us what heads your using and what lubricant!
your best bet is to call ARP.... dont overtorque the bolts
Cman88 said:65 ft. lbs if you are using the ARP lubricant. Just did mine last week.
smittyb said:Well, for 7/16 302 head bolts, it is 65 with moly lube.
JimBowy said:don't listen to this guy, call ARP tech support
you didn't even specify what type of heads you have.... give good info. or don't give any at all
smittyb said:He already said head bolts, and so did I. As for Aluminum, Arp says 60, I never really think it makes a whole lot of difference, but whatever, its 60 or 65.
JimBowy said:If you seriously think it doesn't make a whole lot of difference, you don't understand **** about fasteners. End rant.
