Article on EEC reprograming

I just picked up a copy of the November MM&FF. It has a really good article
about the EEC and reprograming called "Inside the Black Box". It's going to
be a three part series. I found it a good read. I think this series will be a
must have for at-home tuners to actually learn how to properly tune their
EECs.

Yes, I picked up a copy as well. It is a three part series and is VERY well written. The issue I picked up Saturday is part one.

I just read that article as well. I agree it is well written, and I didn't see any major inaccuracies (which I sort of expected). A few major points that I am gald they pointed out because many people don't seem to understand.

1) The MAF style systems are only as good as the accuracy of the MAF
2) Many aftermarket MAF's are not accurate.
3) MAF's that are "callibrated" to injectors screw up load calculations. They didn't mention it but so do products like MafterBurner.
