Ok here goes.I bought my 95 GT in Oct with 48k on the clock.after a few days i started to have a problem with starting the car in the morning after sitting all night it usually wouldn't start on the first try then i would turn the key back and usually on the second try i would start right up!So the local stang shop here in LI NY figured it was either the FPR or fuel pump, first i relpaced the FPR but no change so we went on to install a new fuel pump!Great problem solved for about two months it always started right up and ran fine. Then one day after shuting the car off and running into the store for a few minutes it started right up and stalled right away sometimes it would do this a second time before i got it started but usually ran fine after that! Then it started in again with the hard starting in the morning but this time it would also happen whenever it felt like it even when the car was warm!So i broke down and brought it to ford and they said it was the IAC motor and replaced it and again it seemed to fix the problem but then 3 weeks after that it all started to happen again. This is really geting annoying now some days it will run fine but as of late it's happening more often!Even going through the gears sometimes but not often it will want to stall i have to pop the clutch to keep it going and it usually bucks a little!Oh by the way i know our fuel pumps are a little noisy but on some days mine is louder than usual and i can hear the sound change tone when i step on the brake pedal!A code was pulled by the Mustang shop i can't really recall what it was but it was something like a bad ground between the p something or other and they really didn't know either!Anyway this is where iam at very fustrated.I really don't know what my next step is,replace the distributor or have someone go over the fuel pump install in case it was done wrong! So far i have replaced the FPR twice first with the stock then with a Kirban ajustable,Fuel pump,IAC motor,ACT sensor,ECT sensor,MAF sensor,Balancer(damper)!Plz someone with some knowledge help me out i love my car but i can't have this problem to much longer it driving me insane!

It sounds like you've been taken advantage of a little bit. How come Ford couldn't or didn't pull the codes for you? If they did they would know what it was, unlike that speedshop. Also why did you get a new balancer (unless it Was bad, its not related to the problem).
Anyway, there's more things to try, so keep your hopes up!
I had a similar problem as have many here, and often the culprit is either the ignition control module, or the stator (magnetic pickup) in the distributor. You can test both to see if they work (so you don't pay for more parts), but sometimes bad ICM's test okay... If it's either of those, the parts are cheap, and you could do the ICM yourself (even if you're not mechanically inclined). There are a few other things that could be causing this, and I'm sure someone will chime in with more suggestions.

My guess is that your car was sitting at a point for a long time. Mine had 25K on it when I got it last year and I had a very similar problem. First I did cap/rotor and that made it a little better, then replaced the fuel pump and it's worked great ever since. If you still can't figure it out I'd say turn your key to "on" about 2 or 3 times before you start it to prime the fuel pump. Might save you some starting time/starter if nothing else.

Have you put on a fuel pressure gauge to see if the fuel pump is priming on the first turn of the key? Can you hear the pump prime everytime you turn the key to the run poisition?

Well,Tomorrow iam going to give it a shot a change the Ignition Control Module, and the Distributor and see what happens.I have a strong feeling it's that manetic pickup in the Distributor hopefully this will finally sovle the problem!Thanx

Yeah i hear it,Its only 3 months old so i hope thats noy it!I had the fuel pressure ajusted it was to low so it was turned up to 42psi and now the car runs much better and took away the slight ping i had at WOT at around 3000 to 4000 rpm.But like i said the pump is a little noisy sometimes.
