ATCO and now shock/strut

I just got my C/C plates in this week and my alignment because I have Eibach sports springs in. Yesterday i took it too ATCO and ran three runs (Got a 13.8 by the way) and now i'm hearing this stranging like knocking/popping sound in my left front fender area. I think it's a blown strut. What could have caused this? Could these idiots doing my alignment have something to do with it because it's quite a coincidence. Thanks guys.

and what kind of C/C's where they? did you put the spacers on the strut?

It feels like the strut is hitting the bottom of the plate. I didnt install it myself. I'm using a 4 bolt C&C plate. I don't know if they put the spacers in or if they forgot to put the bumpstop in. I gotta call them up. I looked at it today and realized it wasnt blown, but there isnt much slack b/w the strut shaft and the bottom of the C&C plate. Could that be it? What needs to be done? Thanks guys.

Make sure the strut nuts are good and tight....otherwise they will make that noise. Mine took an impact to get them tight enough where they would't clunk...

yea i took it back to the shop..the guy's an idiot though i'd have to tell him how to fix it. But that might work and it does sound like a clunk. Thanx. Any other ideas?
