I just wanted to draw your attention to this ebay ad that is using a picture of you and your car as an advertisement.

It was one thing for someone to steal a pic of just my car, but this dude stole a pic of HIM and his car...he can definitely have eBay remove the ad. They are never allowed to use your face or likeness without your permission

Thanks Danman for finding that. Should I have them remove it or do you guys think it doesn't really matter? At first I was gung-ho to have it removed but now I don't know.

Its BS that they used it without your permission, I'd have it yanked.

It's actually copyright infringement (I think). In the photography world, if you take a picture, it's legally yours. If someone uses it, big no no. Contact ebay, they should be able to help you out.

Kinda OT, but it'll might help everyone out to prevent this in the future. Is there a program anyone knows of that will apply a copyright logo to pictures automatically? I have thousands of pictures and I dont feel like puting logos on all of them!

If you find one let me know as I hate having to go into photoshop and edit all of my pics with copyright logos.

If you find out a known address for them, you should make an official looking attorney's letterhead and send them a cease and desist order, telling them to remove your picture immediately. Unfortunately, having to copyright your photos with some sort of watermark is about the only way to prevent someone from using them nowadays.
