Okay, I installed a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X469 and JL Audio 4-channel amp a little over a month ago. Everything went fine on the install and I really enjoy the new sound.

The problem I'm having started a couple weeks ago and for the life of me I can't figure out why it is doing this. The problem is that whenever I am driving and I make a left hand turn the sound will cut out for a second or two. The amp will come back on and everything is good until I make another left had turn. The sound will cut out no matter how slow or fast I am going and it doesn't matter how much of a turn I make, even lane changes.

I've retraced all the wiring, checked my amp's power and ground and everything looks good. I don't think it's the main power as my Bazooka amplified tube cuts out as well. Both components share the same grounding location and amp turn on lead. My head unit does not cut out, it stays powered up. Any thoughts here?

You say you checked all wires and connections.......that is what I figure it would be......somewhere a wire is loose or grounding out, or there is a loose connection or bare part of a wire causing it I would think.

Oh, forgot. Also, run a new remote turn-on lead. You have a wire that's temporarily losing connection somewhere, and you need to figure something out. Are the amps/tubes staying on and losing signal, or are they cutting off altogether.

Thanks for the info fellas. I'm guessing it is the remote turn on lead. While driving this afternoon I noticed that when I shift in my seat the sound cuts out. So now I know where to start looking. I'm guessing that one of my wires is too close to my mounting bolts and making contact with them and grounding out. I'll remove the seat and carpet and take a look. Again, thanks!
