I just picked up my new DD, a 2005 Mustang GT, that has an aftermarket subwoofer in the trunk. The problem is it some how disconnected between the time the guy traded it in and when I got it. I've never seen these kind of connectors before otherwise I'd just hook it back up myself. Everything is hooked up, because when I touch the connectors to their respective posts, the sub is powered. So I need your help to tell me if there is a missing or broken part on the connectors.

Is the terminal cup empty or does it have terminals on it? It's hard to see in the last picture... If it has it's own terminals, just put the speaker wire on that and lose the cheap connection they have on it already...

Okay, upon further inspection, it appears the terminal cups somehow sheared off. The threaded part on the end of the banana clip is half of the cup and the other halves are still on the terminal. How the hell that happened, I have no idea.

Also, here's a pic of my new (to me) ride. I still have to clay bar the **** out of this thing tomorrow and find a decent detailer to do some paint correction as it looks like someone used to wash this thing with Brillo pads.

Yeah, those are just banana plugs. That screw part you circled shouldn't be there, it should just slide right off and got unscrewed from something, lol.

Oh yeah, and there should be the other speaker wire in the red post :).
