I'm about 99.9% sure those are the Procomps which have been covered endlessly here and on other mustang/ford forums. If so, they ARE made in China. With the price, it seems hard to believe the lack of first hand experience with them, but most of what I've heard has been 2nd or 3rd hand. People have had some problems with them, mainly with rocker alignment due to stud placement being off from the manufacturer. I have a set that I had fully worked and are being put on my 427 build.
the sportsman heads have wider valve placement requiring special ford racing roller rockers and guide plates, they have huge intake ports and enormous exhaust ports, they were designed for the nascar sportsman series and probably wouldn't make all that great of a street head. i have yet to see anyone running them in a street car and they have been around for several years, i think the N352 head is a revision with slightly smaller exhaust ports.
They take FRPP rockers - one has provision for an offset pushrod cup - per above. These are 10 degree heads. The local race shop (Dugan's in Riverside, CA) says that they use them occasionally for spec motors and they make about 10-15hp more than the Chevy spec head. They do need some work and there are probably many better heads available than these.
What I'd like to hear about are the CNC ported "Z" heads that Ford is offering. Also, has anyone seen the 500hp 331 that FRPP was touting not long ago?
