I have a question about this disc brake kit for you veteran early Mustang wranglers.
I have used various disc brake kits over the decades but not this one specifically.
The best that I can tell, the caliper looks like the 1968 to 1970? style. The rotor 1965 Mustang through 1969 because in 1970, the spindle was changed to a larger diameter.
The description I also have a problem with. The factory 1967 Mustang still used the 4-piston caliper.
So, If I were to describe this kit, I would call it a kit for 1968 to 1969 spindles that also fits 1964.5 through 1967 Mustang V-8 drum spindles (and some other Fords too in the same time frame.) Late 1960s Mustang Disc brake kit
Any input anyone that has had decades of experience as myself too or that has recently used this kit?
The main question is, "is this the 1968 Mustang disc brake caliper and the 1964.5 through 1969 disc brake rotor?
ADDED 25 minutes later: I see that the caliper is used all the way up to 1973 Mustang.
