Theres a guy in Pompton Lakes go's by the name a Mustang Jim. I talked to him about some parts once, he seems pretty knowlegable '
My friend just had his high dollar 71 454 SS Chevelle restored by an outfit in Boonton, I think their name is Classic Car Restorations, the guy owns a perfect and correct 70 Boss 302, I saw that car and it is indeed perfect.
Id do your car even though Im an ametuer, but I know Im good because - 1., I did a frame off rotissarie of my 72 SS 396 Camaro, and so far everything is perfect, and then some, I took a ratty 71 set up for the track stroker Camaro and just went about my usual cleaning and blasting small parts, painting the engine bay and just putting tasteful stuff where it goes, this one was just a low buck get her lookin good deal, and lastly I must be good cause i just went to an all Ford show up on 23 the other day, and I didnt see one engine compartment that looked as good as my 67 coupe Im currently redoing. Serious I dont want to brag but to me its just common sense, but for a first time Mustang resto its coming out pretty good.
Good luck but Id definatly call the place in Boonton, my friend said they werent cheap, but his car is definatly show quality and a driver to boot. Mail me if it dosent come up in a search, I may have the name wrong.
