By far the hardest part is the pedal assembly. Everything else is straight forward.
I may get flamed for this, but before you go and spend the money on a swap. Consider what the AOD can do. It can take a decent beating and when built right (check mods in my sign) It can run with the manuals. With a manual valvebody you can out run some of the best stick drivers.
