Auto to T5 swap. Tried searching, but not getting anywhere.

1981 Fox with C4 auto.
I'd like to install a T5.

Any suggestions?
Highlights on this swap?
Will the age of the car require using pedals and other parts from
certain years, or will any year Fox donor work?
Did 1979-81s with manual trannys use the cable clutch like the later
5.0s with T5s, or were these cars not set up for the cable.
I ask because I don't know if they changed the firewall when they
changed dashboards and started making power from the HO engines.

Any tips would be great.
I am hoping for a bolt in affair.

I have access to a 93 pedal setup and cable setup.

That brings me to the question:
Will the 93 pedal setup be compatible with my 81 steering column and pedal support?

i did it on my 93 just make sure if you get a non world class you use that year of bellhousing same with the world class the input shaft are different lenght
