Auto Tranny makes squealing noise!

I just noticed yesterday that my auto tranny makes a squeal like a loose fanbelt on wide open throttle shifts.

I added a cooler and switched over to mercon v as well as replaced the 1-2 accumulator and left out the springs in the 1-2 and 3-4 accumulators.

I think it is clutch pack slippage???? Is there any addative that would help, or is the tranny shot???

Might toss in a bottle of Lucas to see if the squeal goes away.... but my guess would be the clutchs are about done.

How many miles are on it?

It has less than 60,000miles.

When I took it apart to do the 1-2, 2-3 acc piston changes, I found the 1-2 spring was broken and there was shrapnel in the bore....?weather any of this got into the clutches? I think/hope the filter would get it?

Anyway, I might try the lucas stuff....is it good????
