auto tranny question ?

ok my car is a 87 i have a 88tc 2.3t and the al4d out of the tc in my car !

when i put the tranny in i thought it looked like it had been leaking but slaped it in anyway...... yup it leaks , out of the inspection cover on the flywheel... pisses out pretty good too

soooo is there any other auto trannys i can swap in this thing besides the al4d ? my wife is allowed to drive my car " sometimes" thats why i dont wanna go with a t-5...

if nothing else i will get a al4d ... rebuild it and maybe play with the valve body a bit and add some clutch plates....

leaking?

Sounds like the front seal. If you pull it anyway, it takes about 5 minutes to put in a new seal.

You can get C4 if you can locate a Pinto 2300(2.3l) bellhousing. I recently obtained my bellhousing and I'm about to pick up my flywheel. I figure the C4 is really going to let this motor give up the zip. My A4LD is a torque-stealing slush box!
