Hey everyone, thanks for your time in advance.

Here's the problem:
Just installed 4.10's and I have been running the Diablo tuner. With the tune removed, all shifting/points/downshifts, etc. are fine. With the diablo OR factory HP tune installed the car will NOT downshift when in drive. It goes up to 3000 rpm and the trans pops as though it wants to shift but will not. If I turn overdrive off or shift manually everything is fine, it downshifts properly.

One sidenote: when I go in to adjust the TWO speedlimiters it will not allow me to turn off the second one.....After researching I think this is the problem.
Once again thank you and please help-I hate driving without the tune, it lags like a dog and the speedo is screwed!!!

OH-I have reset and reset and retuned and re-installed several times to no avail, diablosport says to call monday.:nonono:

First off thanks for the feedback. Secondly, the weird thing about it is that I gave diablosport a call Friday at 1pm and spoke with someone, explaining my problem. I was given the "I'm sorry I don't handle cases in which our diablo tune is modified." I was like WTF??!! So he transferred me to another "tech", I explained the situation thoroughly and after 2 seconds on reflection socrates tells me that I have likely changed my tire size and that if I modified the tune there could be "confused status" in the tuner. I got a good laugh. He then told me he would like me to call back monday when a more qualified tech would be able to research my situation further, and I couldn't have agreed more.

Anyway I just wanted to see if anyone had ran into this. I'm going to disconnect the batt. and reset the tuner again and see if I can frustrate myself a little more.

Hmmm doesn't sound like a company I would want to do busniess with, much less count on for good technical assistance.:nonono:

I agree with Propellerhead about talking to another represenative over at Modular Depot. Also, if the o/d band will not disengage, and allow for a downshift, then the something involving the o/d servo exhuast feature isn't working as it should. If I'm not mistaken, the computer must facilitate a "signal" sort of to speak in order for the o/d band to exhuast and allow for a downshift. If the programmer has somehow disabled this function, that would explain it. It sounds like a faulty program for the o/d setup, and not something to do with entering in the wrong tire size. If you had entered in the wrong tire size, then all of your shifts would most likely be off, and not just the o/d exhuast/ shift down feature.

ModularFords.com, not Modular Depot. Modular Depot is sponsored by SCT and they ignore any DiabloSport questions over there. Modular Fords is sponsored by both so you get a more fair playing field.

Ooops. My mistake. Thanks for the correction. I didn't even know about ModularFords.com until you just now informed me.

sorry it took so long to reply to this, but anyway...
problem is fixed, I talked to another rep he walked me through a "reset" of the tuner which worked until I began to modify the diablo tune-I then spent a hour or so and narrowed it down to the shift points...I can't set my 1-2 shift below 5500 rpm's or it will do this. weird, huh?

oh and thanks again for the help everyone.

You probably had it low enough to conflict with the downshift point.
