06 gt ,saleen supercharger,460 at the rear wheels.will the transmission shift as hard and firm as the old c4 or c6 or even my lightning?mine is suppose to be set as firm as it can be and is alot better than stock but 2-3 and 3-4 just dont have that seat of the pants snap shift to it.kinda feels like it wants to shift harder but something pulls back on it.hard to explain but it just doesnt shift as hard as the older trans.is this normal or should i have some one else try to re do it?

No these 5R55S trannies have both clutches and bands inside. If the shift pressures are set to high you will prematurely wear the bands lead to possible failure. I had my transmission built by Level 10 and this was what they told me, not to have my tuner crank the PSI too high.

They rebuilt the tranny with upgraded bands and clutches, upgraded billett servos, upgraded valve body, upgraded solenoid and upgraded pump. The entire stage III transmission and a custom billett torque converterincluding shipping was 5000. They have been building these 5R55s trannies since early 2006. Mine has held up well. I did not let them tune the tranny as I had my tuner handle that.
