I decided to change plugs, problem is I cannot get any Motorcraft plugs until Monday. So I figured I would get Autolite 764s.

However, when I looked at the Autolite 764s they have the short thread like the AWSF series instead of the long threads like the AGSF series.

They will work but i like the longer theard area of the AGSF-32P

Why not wait one more day? I would definitely do that if I were you. If time is an issue, luckilly plug changes don't take too long so you could do them Monday after work/school/whatever you do. With the plug blow out issues that are happening, I stick with full thread plugs

Damn, I just picked up those autolites on friday, never realized the whole full thread/half thread issue. Maybe ill take em back.

thats what i'd do man... autolite coppers made my car run like @ss anyway, it might just be me though

I'm running the autolite 764's in my 99 GT at the moment, and they seem to run fine. I'm also afraid of having a spark plug issue, so monday after work i'm going up to the dealer to get new AGSF-32PM Motorcraft plugs.

stock plugs are good for 100,000 miles, I think they can last till monday

Well, two years ago I switched to AGSF-32C so I am due for a change but I will wait until Monday and get another set of AGSF-32C.

Alright I was able to get Motorcraft plugs at AutoZone

Changed the plugs, pcv, seafoamed all three ways, cleaned MAF, and changed the oil today on the Mustang...

Changed the plugs and the fuel filter today on the Honda Civic...

Now the grill is lit

Motorcraft or Autolite plugs will both work great on your
car.I also use Motorcraft plugs when I change them.

I just bought some autolites and today i was gonna change em. But when taking them out and inspecting them it seems the guy i bought the car from changed them when he swapped motors. The threads are shorter on the autolites, right now there are motorcraft platinums, anybody know about them?

EDIT:checking plugs on the right side of the motor is a mother****in bitch!

just pull off the air tube man! You have a '98, so unless you installed an aftermarket strut tower brace, you shouldn't have to contend with that (my '97 has one, which makes it a little trickier).

I did take mine off, but the damn fuel rail and other misc. wires were still pissin me off. Left side was much easier.
