autometer dash pod ?'s...anyone have one

I would like to get some gauges in my car and was looking at this

My ? is how do they mount to the dash and hou would my tach mount in there.

anyone got pics of them installed

They give you a bracket with the pod to mount it.

Theres 3 brackets that screw into the dash and the pod screws to the brackets.

The shifter is a hurst pistol grip quarter stick shifter

so it kinda wrecks the dash installing theese.

I wouldn't call a few screw holes wrecking the dash. I prefer to keep the gauges in the stock location, its not too bad if your willing to put the time and effort into making it look nice.

I want the pod but I would like to be able to take it out and have a nice dash incase I ever deside to sell. I could probly use 2 sided tape for the mounts couldn't I

You would have to find some realy good double sided tape. That stuff tends to turn into nasty goo when it gets hot.

maby I will just get a gauge cage....but that pod looks killer
