Didnt it come with instructions and its own sender? It should at least tell you the specs on senders it can be used with. If its designed to work with a factory sender, you will prolly need an ohmmeter to check out the one you have. If you bought it second hand, you can call autometer and ask them for the instructions. They may fax them to you right away. Good luck.

The reason I told you all that stuff is most of the time the sender is the part that is bad, not the guage. If you guage is stuck on full most of the time, its the sender or wiring, not the guage thats broken.
