I'm trying to install an autometer a/f gauge in my 99 gt. I've got the a pillar gauge holder, and can't seem to figure out what path to take in order to wire the gauge from the pillar down to the exhaust....anybody have any advice??
If you pull the weather stripping beside the dash, you will notice there is a little gap right between the dash, and the actual metal of the car. Route the wires thru that. Then go underneath the steering console, underneath the dash, and come out by your shifter. If you take your shift boot and all that mess off, you will be able to see thru the big hole in the floorboard that the shifter sticks up out of. Go thru that hole beside the shifter. Then go beside the tranmission and up to the exhaust. That's how I routed mine.
thanks man! i knew there had to be an easier way to do it than what i was trying (run between the dash and the windshield) that makes perfect sence tho!
