I hope autometer electrical oil guages work better than the nitrous electric ones do. I bought a brand new electrical nitrous guage and it worked like total crap. Readings were off to the tune of 15 pounds and shortly thereafter quit working all together. Went to manual with line and have had no problems.

First question is -- what did you compare this to that makes the Autometer one so inaccurate?
Second question is -- when dealing with 1000 pounds of pressure, is 15 pounds really that much to worry about?
With that said, having run both, I'd run electric again without even thinking about it. It only takes one fun adventure of oil spraying inside your car to learn that lesson.
ELECTRIC, cause if the mechanical lines had just a minor leak and the fittings, your in for a real mess cleaning hot motor oil or hot coolant from your carpet.
