Would somebody please tell me how difficult it is going to be to wire up my new autometer tach and shift light? Is it a long process? Any tips or anything?

Thanks,
Brandon

You can download the PDF instructions from the autometer website :D

The coil wire will have to pass thru the firewall or you can find it on the computer pin (not sure which one though).

I used a wire in the steering column (remove plastic case, 3 screws) that provides +12 volts at ignition (use a multimeter or test light to find the wire).

Dash light, you can tap into the light that goes to the HVAC controls

Ground, well ground it onto the firewall (under the dash)

don't need to remove the inst. panel for the wires. The ignition wire can be found in the steering column (only need to remove that housing). I tapped into the light in my HVAC control since it was close and easy to find (pull out light, add wire to (+)).
