Im having a problem with my car hitting the rev limiter like 2 or 3 times before shifting in first to second gear WOT. I have 4.10 gears and a predator tune and i think its the gears and the computer not reacting fast enough to the shifts. Have any of you had any kind of problem like this?

sounds like you need to reset the shift points for the gears

Do you have a reputable shop nearby that would tune your car?

you need to adjust the WOT 1-2 shift point lower. the rpm you set is not when the trans actually shifts, it's when it's commanded to shift. it takes a second or two for the clutches to fill after the shift is commanded. so there's a delay between commanded shift point and actual shift point. try setting the shift point to 4800rpm. it should then actually shift around 5800rpm.

I had to lower mine when I got my 4.10s. After about a dozen runs at the track, I settled on 5600, 5550, 5500 for 1-2, 2-3 and 3-4 WOT shift points.
