autoshifting....bad?!?!!

hello all i was just curious for my own knowledge to know if autoshifting is bad because ive heard mixed responses........

It's not going to destroy your transmission when you do it (unless you do a neutral drop, which can eat a transmission like a piece of candy), but it does degrade the life of your transmission, and is certainly not healthy for it by any means.

but isnt their a shift kit for auto's that would make it ok?!?!?!?
