My car has an awful sound coming out of the front end. Sounds like the right front spring is chewing on a brick while popping a joint out of place:nonono:. I took the wheel off lubed all the rubber I could see, cleaned the spring seats, and changed the right, outer tie rod end. The noise improved but did not go away. The sound is usually heard when turning the wheels without forward movement and also over moderate to severe bumps. I really didnt see anything broken when I was looking around in there but I aint no mechanic. Any ideas on what to check?

It seemed to be ok. It turned freely and didnt seem to wobble. The sound kinda correlates with expansion and contraction of the spring. Almost as if the spring were making the sound but I dont think thats the case. If I shake the car by hand while its parked, you will initially hear it and then it seems to go away as if whatever the problem is settled into that motion. The sound returns when the front suspension is stressed another way and then again it will quiet down as if settling into the new motion.:nonono:
