Hello,

My dad found a turbocoupe rear end that I am going to swap in to upgrade to rear discs. The "main" brake upgrade page shows that the axles are .75" longer. I want to upgrade to a F-150 31 spline diff and get some moser 31 spline axles as well. Can I order axles that will bring the axle length back to the stock mustang length? What length are the axles? Also, what else will I need to finish the conversion? Thanks for the help.

If you read Matt's website, he does cover this. The axles and brake brackets are designed together, so you can't alter axle length and use the same stock brake brackets. If you want Fox length axles, you need to get the $160 www.northracecars.com brackets designed to use the TC brakes with Fox axles. Or if you are mechanical and can modify the stock brackets, you can cut them and mount them on the inside of the flange with some washers to move the brakes in the .75" difference. There is a thread on Corral about doing this to SN95 brackets.
