Well guys the car is running and I have realized how badly gears are needed to get this thing to 7500rpms. With the 2.75's 1st gear can get all the way to 75mph and this is with a freaking 5 speed. I don't need to go 300mph, so I am remedying this. Ronstang is helping me assemble a 4.30 geared, detroit locker, daytona bearing, 31 spline, Nodular Iron 3rd member for my Mach. The only thing we have left is to get some nice strong axles to hold up. I don't want any weak links in the car. My question is that I have been looking for some Currie and Moser axles but they are harder to get and cost a lot. I was wondering if Superior makes quality products? They are sold on summit and are made to whatever length you like. The axle splines are rolled and they are made of a hardened alloy. They look like a nice strong axle, but I wanted to make sure they are good. Anyone using these axles or heard about them? At $110 an axle sounds like a good deal.
