b cam and performer rpm

i have a b cam and would like to put edelbrock performer heads on it with 2.02 intake valves and 1.60 exhaust, would there be any piston to valve clearance issues??

Not a problem. Again, it is not the size of the valves, or how far they open, but WHEN they open and close that cause piston to valve clearance issues. The "B" cam does not have enough duration or overlap to cause a problem, even if using 1.7 roller rockers.

ok thank you for that info, some guy at cj pony parts was telling me i was gonna have clearance issues with the 2.02's n i thought he was crazy for telling me that! Well now tis time to start saving money for some heads yay! maybe somone will be in the high twleves by spring!! haha

what about if the heads have been milled .060?

I have x heads (1.94 intake) and I want another b cam, it sounded so damn mean and loud...
