neither IMO.

if i had to go with a letter cam, i would go with the F. more aggresive than the e but still streetable and the idle isn't bad. its a good all around cam that works with power adders if you would chose to do that down the line. the b cam is strictly n/a.

E makes more low and midrange power, B is more top end and F is even more topend

Letter cams are not usually my first choice
but
Since you got oem iron heads

I'd say it won't be like its a huge mis match.

You got a stick trans and 410's
so
If looking at the b-cam

It would not be as bad as if you had an auto or stock gears

If I had to pick between them ... I'd lean toward the e-cam

The B303 is a bad cam choice for injected cars. The overlap in this cam causes big idle problems. Injected 5.0's like high lift and duration but no overlap. Try a Crane 2030 with 1.6 rockers or a 2031 with 1.7 rockers.

I had b-cam in my old car with edelbrock performer intake, 3.31 gear, full exhaust and suprisingly went 13.0@104....just to give an idea..I've heard the 94-95 takes to an e-cam better as well as far as driveability but every car is different as well. I have an e-cam for this car just waiting for atleast and intake before i put it in.

Just wanted to point out .........
Concerns for drivability in cam choice ............
Will most likely leave power on the table

Those issues can be easily dealt with by custom tuning

If max power AND good drivability are desired

Pick your cam based upon making power
and
Use a tune to deal with drivabilitly issues

Of course ... using this method will require additional cash

Stock cam as you really don't have major mods to require or utilize a bigger then stock cam. I would just advane or retard the stock cam to more the power band where you want it.

I like this reasoning....

Since you have stock heads, I'd say B cam. I have a B cam in my car with stock heads and other mods, and it does very well. No driveability issues either. I believe lobe separation angle is what some 94-95 cars throw a fit over. I've heard of more idle issues out of the E cam even though it doesn't have as much overlap.

B with 1.7's is a good combo. You get better cylinder filling with the slightly longer duration of the B cam and get some decent lift. You don't really NEED the added lift all that much with stock heads though. I forgot what stock heads flow to, but I'm pretty sure it's just about .500 and tapers off quickly from there.

I have also decided today to throw a set of heads on the car as well. Rem,,, 4.10+ GT40, offrodad x pipe, cold air,,,,, + E or B Cam, now heads??? Limited budget I can get a set of Edelbroke Performers not the RPM series for $650 brand new. Would these be a good choice to make?

Thanks
