Block dealer?

Where have all of you guys been finding 351w's? Besides ebay....where am I suppose to find 351's? Obviously engine builders have them...but everyone wants 600+ for just the block..I'm looking more along the lines of a couple hundred or less. I also dont want to drop money on ebay, pay shipping, and end up with a cracked block when it gets here..besides waiting for word of mouth for a hook up...where did you guys find your motors?

I'm in the same boat as you, im looking for a '74 or earlier 351W, im going to head the the local mustang shop tommrow and see if they have any or know any one looking to sell one.

Ebay 351w is only good if you can pick it up. My buddy got one in pheonix for $100 on ebay. I have 2 351w waiting to be buit in my garage, 69, and 87. The one in my 66 came out of an EFI vam, also 87 block. I have $600 in the 69 block, the 87 came in a trade for a 408 kit(for a 331 kit), and the 351w in the 66 was a short block out of a late 80s van for $125 at the local shop. They are out there, just be patient, deals turn up all the time.

You gotta look. I've got a good, std bore 1972 351W block for sale. $150+ motor freight. Also got a virgin 351C 72 short block. Ain't been apart since it left the factory. Jumped time is what stopped the clock. No signs of any other trouble. I'm in south Louisiana.
