Hankook tires???

Has anyone heard of or tried the Ventus Plus series. I am looking for 275/35/18 tires and they have this size Ventus Plus on Ebay for like $350 plus shipping. This seems really cheap and I am wondering if these tires are junk or not. I know tires are the only thing between the car and the road and you usually get what you pay for but I do like to save $$ when I can.

Off topic: how do you bold the title of the thread???

i have hankook ventus 104's. they have been the best street tire i have ever had, plus they work pretty good at the track too

ive just put those on my front about 4000 miles ago no complaints, a little road noise , great in rain, no tire wear, alot better than the goodyears

I've got a full set of HRII H405's 275/40 on the 17X8 rims. A lot of people of had said not to go that wide on a stock rim, but after putting them on the car rides so much smoother and the front end really grabs going through the corners so the front doesn't push..
Can't beat'em for $102

i just ordered ventus 265/40/18 and 275/35/18 front and back. never used them before, but got them through pepboys. my boy is the manager there. he said people seem to be pleased with them. they had to order them from their werehouse and only the 275's are there but i saw them and they look awsome and huge. the manager (my boy ) has a ss camaro that he just put bf goodrich tires on. he said he was shocked that my ventus tires have almost the exact same tread pattern.

They are starting to make a push to gain market share in the U.S. now. one of the Mustang magazines just did an article on Hankook tires if I'm not mistaken. On the face of it, they have a real nice pattern on the higher end performance tire.

Got the 255/40/17s and I like them but eventually I will swing for the DR's

Just put Hankook Ventus 104's in 275/40/17 on all 4 corners last month. I like them so far, they definately have better traction and less road noise than the Goodyears
